I use my Zune mainly for PodCasts. I download all of the latest http://www.Twit.tv PodCast and listen to them on the way to and from work.

TeraStation

I have had a 1 terabyte TeraStation running in Raid 5 for over year. I store all of my data on it and have redirected the My Documents folders of all PC’s to a shared My Documents folder on the TeraStation for each user.

I have two more 1 terabyte TeraStations running in JBOD mode as online backups for one of my clients. I use robocopy to backup all of the changed files Monday thru Friday and do a complete backup over the weekend.

It does help to have the TeraStation running on a gigabit switch along with any other servers.

Created a new logon account to WebMin for Squid reports. This will keep someone from messing things up if they don’t know what they are doing. Set Squid reports to generate automatically (going to have to watch to see if hard drive starts filling up, might have to archive reports off of server)

Setup IE on test station OLSN50 (which is Windows 2000 running in a VMWare session) to use the VMWare appliance as it’s proxy server.

Reports ran OK. Reports showed where I tried to get to playboy.com and was blocked.

Setup DansGuardian to automatically update (this is for testing ONLY since it is a commercial product that they deserve there money for)

I just downloaded SQUID_WEBMIN.zip which is a DansGuardian / Squid VMWare appliance to do internet content filtering.

I’ll keep posting as I do more testing.
